After reading that 7 hours of sleep is
better than 8 I got up at 5:30. Off
to the cafe for a bacon sandwich. Colin arrived 12:08 and we had a good lunch.
Such a lovely day I felt so free and easy. We walked along the canal westwards
for a change. The views are much wider. A lovely walk. I must go and collect
some elder flowers.* We
had a Chinese meal but instead of getting what we ordered we found we had a tai
curry - very hot.
*I did go the following
day, which was not quite as sunny; but I obtained 12 good heads and later made
some bottles of Elderflower champagne!
