Decided to get out for a short walk after so long without one. I parked on Delph Lane and after inspecting the new saplings which appear to be birch and sycamore with another I couldn't identify, I walked up above the cleared wood.

My 'stone man' is still standing, although at
first I couldn't see it. I then walked on towards the summit of the track, and
after making towards the junction where a private track goes down to the road I
noticed the lowering sky over the Fylde. Not wishing to get caught in
rain, having only my small wind-proof, I decided to turn back. I stopped for a
while on top of the track admiring the view, as the threat of rain seemed to be
moving away, but it grew cool and so I soon headed back to Stang Yule. A
pleasant stroll, leaving the car by 11:45 and regaining it by about 15:30.
