You can find an index to my other walks here

A lovely day, with sun; warm, but windy. Beyond the bungalow the
notice about access being closed has been taken down.
I set off
from the car at 11:50 and was at my cairn inside the hour, having visited the
viewpoint also. It is a good day for photographs.

I stayed for an hour. It was warm sitting out of the wind on the
heather bank.

I then
set off intending to get over to Fiendsdale Head but on starting on the road round
the back of the fell I realised that the journey would be too long and so sought
the short route I remember from a few years ago back to the dip in the road above Coolam Wood. The track, for long unused, has disappeared, and all traces of it have gone.

So it was back down by the wall to Stang Yule. A nice leg stretcher and some very lovely views.
